Russian President, Indian Prime Minister Have Another Brief Talk in Singapore

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday had another brief on-the-go conversation ahead of the beginning of the East Asia Summit (EAS) in Singapore.

SINGAPORE (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th November, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday had another brief on-the-go conversation ahead of the beginning of the East Asia Summit (EAS) in Singapore.

The conversation took place before the start of the summit's plenary session, while the two politicians were attending an exhibition, which was aired at the event's press center.

Putin and Modi first spoke through an interpreter. Then were joined by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

On Wednesday, Putin and Modi already had a brief talk on the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Summit, which is also being hosted by Singapore.

The EAS has brought together the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states and the organization's partners � Australia, China, Japan, India, New Zealand, Russia, South Korea and the United States.
