Russian President Thanks Serbian Authorities, People For Warm Welcome In Belgrade

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday thanked the Serbian authorities and local residents for a hearty reception during his Belgrade visit
"I thank you for the warm words and the invitation [to visit Serbia]. We are in a permanent close contact with you, we have recently met in Moscow, I remember my visit to Serbia. I want to thank the residents of Belgrade and the Serbian brother nation for such a warm reception. It could be seen on people's faces on the streets," Putin said during his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The Russian president noted that the two countries had a long history of relations and deep-rooted ties, adding that it helps the states develop relations today.
During Putin's ongoing Serbian visit, the two leaders are expected to conduct negotiations and sign over 20 bilateral documents, related to foreign policy, energy, industrial cooperation, railway infrastructure, social policy, education, digital technologies, innovations, and space industry.
