Russian nuclear corporation Rosatom will construct a nuclear science and technologies center in Vietnam, since it signed a related memorandum with the country on Wednesday
Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev and Vietnamese Science and Technologies Minister Chu Ngoc Anh singed the memorandum on the sidelines of the talks between Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, held in Moscow.
Meanwhile, Russian gas giant Novatek signed a memorandum of understanding with the people's committee of the southeastern Vietnamese Ninh Thuan province, envisaging the development of a project of an electric power generation facility that would use liquefied natural gas.
Novatek CEO Leonid Mikhelson and the head of Ninh Thuan's people's committee put their signatures under the document after the meeting between Medvedev and Phuc.
