Russian Roselektronika Says Began Mass Production Of Modernized Troops Control Systems

Roselektronika holding company, a subsidiary of Russian state-run corporation Rostec, has launched mass production of modernized communication and control systems R-090K for the country's Armed Forces and has already started delivering them to the Defense Ministry, the company's press service told Sputnik
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st March, 2019) Roselektronika holding company, a subsidiary of Russian state-run corporation Rostec, has launched mass production of modernized communication and control systems R-090K for the country's Armed Forces and has already started delivering them to the Defense Ministry, the company's press service told Sputnik.
"Roselektronika holding company has launched mass production of modernized systems for [setting up] communication networks and control of the Armed Forces, R-090K," the press service said.
According to Roselektronika, the system has passed all necessary tests, which demonstrated a significant improvement on its tactical and technical characteristics.
"It [the system] is designed for the deployment of promising automated control systems using heterogeneous communication channels, including the possibility of access for Ethernet network subscribers. The equipment has four independent discrete communication channels," the press service added.
R-090K receives and transmits information through non-switched four-wire voice frequency circuits.
The company noted that the systems were built using exclusively Russian-made components.
