Russian Security Council Secretary Arrives In Tehran For Consultations On Afghanistan

TEHRAN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th September, 2018) Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev arrived in Tehran on Tuesday to discuss security issues in Afghanistan and the region with his counterparts from Afghanistan, China, India, and Iran the next day.
At the one-day meeting called Regional Security Dialogue, the security chiefs will discuss terrorism and radicalism in Afghanistan and neighboring states, hold bilateral negotiations and provide recommendations on coordinating mutual anti-terrorism efforts.
According to a source in the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, Iran will be represented by the Security Council's secretary, Ali Shamkhani, Afghanistan's representative is National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib.
