The next meeting between the presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran on the situation in Syria is not being prepared at the moment, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said on Monday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th November, 2018) The next meeting between the presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran on the situation in Syria is not being prepared at the moment, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said on Monday.

"The presidential [meeting] is not being prepared yet," Ushakov told reporters, when asked about the format of a meeting on Syria expected to take place in the Kazakh capital of Astana later this month.

Earlier in the day, Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said that a new meeting on the Syrian crisis settlement would take place in Astana on November 28-29.

The latest meeting between the presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran, the guarantors of the Syrian ceasefire, took place in early September.
