MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th March, 2019) The delegation of the Russian upper house has invited North Korean lawmakers to visit Moscow, Oleg Melnichenko, the head of the Russian Federation Council's regional policies committee, said Monday.

The Russian delegation, led by Melnichenko, is currently on a visit to Pyongyang to commemorate an anniversary of bilateral economic cooperation agreement.

"A fruitful dialogue has been held. We have agreed to cooperate and drafted a plan of joint activities. We have also invited our partners to Moscow," Melnichenko said, as cited by the Federation Council.
