Russia is planning to fly its first electric aircraft next year, the Russian Foundation for Advanced Research Projects in the Defense Industry told Sputnik Monday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th February, 2019) Russia is planning to fly its first electric aircraft next year, the Russian Foundation for Advanced Research Projects in the Defense Industry told Sputnik Monday.
"In 2020, the demonstrator of a hybrid power plant with an electric motor based on high-temperature superconductivity will be tested in a flight laboratory," a representative of the research unit said.
