Russia's Kalashnikov Concern said Monday it had developed a hybrid buggy dubbed OV-2 for the Russian military, capable of accelerating up to 100 kph (about 62 mph).
PARK PATRIOT( Moscow region) (UrduPoint news / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Russia's Kalashnikov Concern said Monday it had developed a hybrid buggy dubbed OV-2 for the Russian military, capable of accelerating up to 100 kph (about 62 mph).
"It has been developed in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry.
The vehicle is capable of speeding up to 100 kilometers per hour and transporting up to four people, including the driver," an official from the Kalashnikov Concern told Sputnik.
According to the official, the power of the rear wheel drive engine is 42 kW, while the front wheel drive electric motor boast the power of 55 kW.
The buggy features a spring suspension with hydraulic shock absorber, as well as a two-circuit hydraulic brakes system, the official added.
