Russia's Rosoboronexport Says Exported Arms Worth Over $7Bln In 2018

Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport exported armaments worth more than $7 billion in 2018, Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev said on Monday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport exported armaments worth more than $7 billion in 2018, Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev said on Monday.
"In 2018, Rosoboronexport continued to steadily develop and strengthen its positions in the world arms market.
We have already exported products worth more than $7 billion," Mikheev said, as quoted by the Rosoboronexport press service.
The official noted that the exporter had signed 600 contracts worth $9 billion in 2018, with the arms export orders portfolio exceeding $45 billion.
"Having signed nearly 600 contracts worth $9 billion, we have increased our orders portfolio. As of today, it exceeds $45 billion. It includes six new countries - our partners," Mikheev said.
