Russia's Rosoboronexport Says to Hold Talks With 50 Foreign Delegations at Army 2018 Forum

Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport will hold talks with delegations from over 50 countries, including 16 Sub-Saharan African states, at Army 2018 defense industry forum, Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev said on Monday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport will hold talks with delegations from over 50 countries, including 16 Sub-Saharan African states, at Army 2018 defense industry forum, Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev said on Monday.

The Army 2018 forum will be held in the Patriot exhibition center in Kubinka, the Moscow Region, on August 21-26.

"The Army Forum traditionally ensures Rosoboronexport's biggest monetization compared to all the other exhibition events around the world. It gathers the largest number of foreign delegations in Moscow.

�We will hold talks with representatives of more than 50 countries there," Mikheev said, as quoted by the Rosoboronexport press service.

According to the official, Rosoboronexport expects particular interest from the African countries, including Sub-Saharan states, at the Army forum.

"We will witness a true 'African breakthrough.' In addition to our traditional partners from North Africa, we are expecting representatives of 16 Sub-Saharan African countries at our stand and meeting rooms," Mikheev added.
