S. Korea Cooperates In E-govt With Cambodia, Vietnam

South Korea is actively cooperating with Cambodia and Vietnam in the e-government field by dispatching an inter-ministerial contingent to the Southeast Asian nations, the interior ministry said Thursday.
SEOUL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2018 ) :South Korea is actively cooperating with Cambodia and Vietnam in the e-government field by dispatching an inter-ministerial contingent to the Southeast Asian nations, the interior ministry said Thursday.
The team, comprising officials from seven related ministries, held a digital government forum at the Cambodian posts and telecommunications ministry in Phnom Penh earlier in the day, with its minister Tram Iv Tek attending, the ministry said.
The forum introduced South Korea's e-government system and major e-government projects of the two countries and also included discussions of bilateral cooperation, according to the ministry. In particular, discussions on South Korea's e-government regulations and resident registration system took place to facilitate their possible export to Cambodia, the ministry said.
The contingent will visit Vietnam on Friday to hold a similar forum, the ministry added.
