S. Korean President Arrives In Kazakhstan On State Visit

ALMATY, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2019 ) :South Korean President Moon Jae-in arrived in Kazakhstan on Sunday for a three-day state visit aimed at improving the countries' bilateral ties.
Kazakhstan is the last stop on his tour of three Central Asian countries that has also taken him to Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Moon flew into Kazakhstan's largest city of Almaty following his four-day visit to Uzbekistan that included a trip to the country's historic city of Samarkand.
In Almaty, he was set to hold a meeting with some 300 South Korean residents.
The South Korean president will head to the capital Nur-Sultan later in the day to attend a ceremony to mark the return of the remains of two Korean independence fighters against Japanese colonial rule who died in Kazakhstan.
On Monday, Moon will hold a bilateral summit with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the capital, formerly called Astana. He will return home Tuesday, wrapping up his three-nation tour.
