SANA Circulates Leaked White Helmets Video With Scenes Of Staged Chemical Attack In Idlib

DAMASCUS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2018) Syria's state-run SANA news agency on Friday circulated a leaked video showing members of the White Helmets staging scenes of a fake chemical incident in Idleb province, but the video footage was quickly removed from the Youtube service.

In the five-minute video showed by the agency, there are three versions of the same footage with slightly different "scenarios" and the arrangement of actors. At the beginning of the video, the alleged "victims of a chemical attack" are lying on the ground, one man is being transferred on a stretcher to an ambulance, and a child is being hosed with water in a pickup van.

However, in the second and third versions of the video, the man no longer lies on a stretcher, but helps the others to hose the child with water.

The video was removed a few minutes after the publication, while the article with the description of the video content on the Arabic and English versions of the agency's website remained.
