MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th December, 2018) It is senseless to hold a Normandy format summit on Ukraine until Kiev adopts the law on the status of Donbas and withdraws troops, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said in an interview with Sputnik.
"As for convening the summit in the Normandy format, Kiev must fulfill the agreements reached earlier by the [Normandy] Four's leaders at summits in 2015-2016 in Paris and Berlin," Karasin said.
"Nobody needs a meeting for the sake of a meeting," he said.
