Shefir's Driver Underwent Surgery, Provided Testimony- Ukraine's Internal Affairs Minister

KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2021) Ukrainian First Presidential Assistant Serhiy Shefir's driver who sustained a gunshot injury during the assassination attempt on his boss underwent surgery and was interviewed by investigators, Internal Affairs Minister Denys Monastyrsky said on Wednesday.

"The driver underwent surgery, nothing threatens his life. Before being admitted to hospital, he managed to tell investigators where the shots were fired from, which enabled them to quickly inspect the scene and implement necessary measures," Monastyrsky said at a briefing.
