Six People Die, Around 120 Sustain Injuries In Stampede At Concert In Italy - Reports

ROME (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th December, 2018) Six people died and around 120 were wounded in a stampede at a rap concert in a nightclub, located in the vicinity of the city of Ancona in eastern Italy, local media reported.
The panic had been caused by someone using an irritating spray during the concert, leading to the stampede at the exit of the nightclub, the Repubblica newspaper reported.
The outlet noted that 118 people had been hospitalized with various injuries after the incident. Ten of those wounded have sustained grave injuries.
According to witnesses, cited by the outlet, around 1,000 people were present in the club at the time of the incident.
