S.Korean Leader Says Plans To Discuss With Trump Possibility Of End To Korea War This Year

South Korean President Moon Jae-in said he intends to discuss with US President Donald Trump the possibility of an official end to the war on the Korean peninsula this year.
SEOUL (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2018) South Korean President Moon Jae-in said he intends to discuss with US President Donald Trump the possibility of an official end to the war on the Korean peninsula this year.
"The goal is to sign a declaration to end the war this year, I will discuss this with President Trump," Moon told reporters after returning from Pyongyang.
The South Korean leader is heading to the United States soon, where he will attend the session of the UN General Assembly and meet with the US president.
