South Korea Extends Invitation To Putin To Pay Visit To Country - Prime Minister

South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon on Wednesday extended invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the country in the near future.
VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th September, 2018) South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon on Wednesday extended invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the country in the near future.
Lee met with Putin on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Russia's Vladivostok.
"President [Moon Jae-in] instructed me to send you an invitation to [South] Korea again. He wants to see you there in the nearest future possible," Lee said at the meeting with Putin.
The official also noted that Moon really wanted to visit EEF, but could not make it due to the upcoming and highly important meeting with the North Korean authorities.
On Tuesday, media reported that South and North Koreas will hold working-level military talks on September 13, during which the two sides are expected to finalize the military agenda for the upcoming bilateral high-level summit.
The fourth EEF is underway on the island of Russky in Vladivostok. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is the general information partner of the forum.
