South President Expresses Hope For Resumption Of US-North Korea Negotiations

South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on Thursday that he hoped the United States would resume negotiations with North Korea
SEOUL (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2018) South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on Thursday that he hoped the United States would resume negotiations with North Korea.
"I want the United States to understand the will and stance of North Korea, put itself in [Pyongyang's] shoes and resume dialogue as soon as possible," Moon told reporters after returning from Pyongyang.
According to the president, his recent summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un created conditions for resumption of the US-North Korea dialogue.
