Spanish Cicero Falcons Farm participates in International Falcon Breeders Auction

Riyadh, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Aug, 2024) The Spanish Cicero Falcons Farm participated in the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2024 by displaying 26 falcons in the showroom of the auction organized by the Saudi Falcons Club (SFC), at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The farm’s agent, Nasser Al-Ajmi, said that the SFC’s high reputation, gained through its great support for the falconry legacy and organization of events in the same field, has encouraged many falconers and global production farms to participate in this event.

Al-Ajmi pointed out that Spanish Cicero Farm, a well-established farm in Europe, participated for the first time in the auction.

He added that the distinguished organization of the auction over the past years and the great facilities provided by the SFC to the participants inspired all falcon production farms to join this major event, which embodies the efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a global destination for falconry.

The auction witnessed the sale of rare breeds, including the sale of the most expensive falcon in the world, a Gyrfalcon, for SAR 1.75 million, originally owned by the American Pacific Northwest Falcons farm.

The auction attracts elite falcon breeds over 20 days, coming from more than 35 leading production farms in 16 countries. It continues until August 24.
