Specialists from Russia are unlikely to join the new attribution mechanism of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), if such a mechanism is created, Georgy Kalamanov, the head of the Russian delegation at the conference of the states parties to the CWC in The Hague, told reporters Tuesday.
"The amount by which the planned budget of the OPCW is to be increased was to be spent on attribution, creation of the mechanism and recruitment of new employees for solving tasks that are not typical of the organization," Kalamanov said.
He said if such a structure appeared, "Russian specialists are unlikely to join it."
