Sputnik, Web Edition Of Largest Egyptian Newspaper Al-Ahram Sign Cooperation Agreement

CAIRO (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th September, 2018) Sputnik international news agency and broadcaster will cooperate with the internet portal of the largest Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, the cooperation agreement was signed on Tuesday by director of the joint directorate of Sputnik's international broadcasting Tural Kerimov and editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram portal Mohammad al-Desuki.
The document provides for cooperation in the information sphere to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
"Cooperation with Al-Ahram is an important stage in the development of Sputnik's partner network in the middle East and North Africa," Kerimov said at the signing ceremony.
Kerimov noted that the agreement would allow the Egyptian audience to follow the alternative news agenda.
Sputnik and Al-Ahram have already begun to exchange information in various formats.
The Al-Ahram newspaper, founded in 1875, is one of the oldest newspapers in Egypt and has the largest circulation.
