Sri Lanka Names Squad For England Test Tour

Colombo, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Aug, 2024) Sri Lanka's cricket board named an 18-member squad led by Dhananjaya de Silva on Wednesday for the three-match Test tour of England starting this month.
The island nation plays the 1st Test from August 21 in Manchester, with the 2nd at Lord's from August 29 and the final at the Oval from September 6.
Squad: Dhananjaya de Silva (capt), Dimuth Karunaratne, Nishan Madushka, Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Kamindu Mendis, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Asitha Fernando, Vishwa Fernando, Kasun Rajitha, Lahiru Kumara, Nisala Tharaka, Prabath Jayasuriya, Ramesh Mendis, Jeffrey Vandersay, Milan Rathnayake.
