Sudan Military Jet Crash Near Capital Kills 2 Pilots

CAIRO (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2018) A training jet belonging to the Sudanese Air Force crashed near the capital of Khartoum, killing both pilots, a military spokesman said Friday.
The Chinese-made K-8 aircraft crashed overnight during a training mission due to a "sudden technical problem," Ahmed Khalifa Shami said in a statement seen by the Sudan Tribune daily.
This is the second air disaster to hit the North African country this week after a Mi-17 military helicopter struck the ground on Monday in the South Darfur state. The crew and passengers survived.
