Eight shells supposedly dating back to World War II and the Great Patriotic War have been found on a construction site in northern Moscow, local emergency services told Sputnik Saturday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th January, 2019) Eight shells supposedly dating back to World War II and the Great Patriotic War have been found on a construction site in northern Moscow, local emergency services told Sputnik Saturday.

"Eight objects similar to wartime shells were found during excavation works on Pulkovskaya street," a representative of emergency services said.

The representative said that the nearest houses were about 250 meters (820 feet) away. The area was cordoned off and a bomb squad was called to the site.
