WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th February, 2019) The suspected gunman in a shooting at a factory in the US state of Illinois is among five dead, Aurora Police Department Chief Kristen Ziman said during a press conference.
"The other officers on the scene located gunshot victims inside the building.
At this time we have confirmed that five victims are deceased," Ziman said on Friday.
She said the suspected gunman, 45-year old Gary Martin, shot and wounded five police officers. Martin, who allegedly opened fire against co-workers, was killed in an exchange of gunfire with police. The shooter was a worker at the valve manufacturing facility in the city of Aurora, a town about 40 miles west of Chicago.
