Syria To Seek Every Opportunity To Develop Cooperation With Crimea - Economy Minister

Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashfaq Saturday, on behalf of furniture producers, presented a set of proposals for upcoming Federal Budget 2019-20 to Advisor to Prime Minister Abdul Razak Dawood.

YALTA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th April, 2019) Syria will use every opportunity to overcome the existing challenges that stand in its way of developing cooperation with Crimea, Syrian Economy and Foreign Trade Minister Samer Khalil said on Saturday.

"There is no doubt that both sides have a strong desire to develop cooperation.

We will use all opportunities to overcome the challenges we are facing in this process," Khalil said at a meeting with Sergei Aksyonov, the head of the Russian republic of Crimea, on the sidelines of the Yalta International Economic Forum.

The Syrian minister stressed that a number of practical steps for developing cooperation between Syria and Crimea in various fields, including economy, trade and culture, were proposed during the meeting in Yalta, Crimea.

The forum began on Thursday and will last through Saturday.
