Tehran Refutes Reports About Meeting With Trump At UNGA Requested By Rouhani

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st September, 2018) The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Friday denied reports that Tehran requested a meeting between President Hassan Rouhani and US President Donald Trump under the framework of the UN General Assembly.
Earlier, US permanent representative to the UN Nikki Haley mentioned such a request.
"I reiterate that the Iranian side has never requested a meeting with Mr. Trump," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said.
