MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th November, 2018) As many as three Syrians were wounded as a result of shelling by militants of a western suburb of Aleppo over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Syrian Reconciliation said on Tuesday.
"Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, there are still cases of ceasefire regime violation by illegal armed formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone. Over the last 24 hours, four cases of shelling have been registered in western outskirts of Aleppo. Two Syrian soldiers and one civilian were wounded as a result of the shelling," Lt.
Gen. Vladimir Savchenko, head of the center, said at a briefing.
Savchenko added that a working meeting was held with the governor of Aleppo province, during which the sides discussed issues of reconstruction of public infrastructure.
A humanitarian delivery was carried out in Damascus province, where people received 250 food sets.
The reconciliation center has again urged leaders of illegal armed formations operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone to cease hostilities and move towards peaceful settlement of the situation in areas they occupy.
