Tianwan NPP New Power Unit's Reactor To Be Launched In Late September - Rosatom

The launch of the reactor of the new power unit of the Tianwan nuclear power plant (NPP), built with Russia's participationin China, will take place at the end of September, Alexey Bannik, vice president for projects in China, ASE Engineering Company (part of the Rosatom state corporation), told reporters.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th September, 2018) The launch of the reactor of the new power unit of the Tianwan nuclear power plant (NPP), built with Russia's participationin China, will take place at the end of September, Alexey Bannik, vice president for projects in China, ASE Engineering Company (part of the Rosatom state corporation), told reporters.
"Reaching the minimum controllable capacity level [the reactor's launch] is a key event in the pre-launch work on the fourth power unit of the Tianwan NPP," Bannik said, adding that this will happen by the end of September.
