A train derailment in Spain's Catalonia left one person dead and five lightly injured, the local civil protection service said Tuesday.

"One person dead, 5 people with light injuries," the service said on Twitter.
According to Vanguardia newspaper, the incident occurred between the towns of Terrassa and Manresa.
