Trump Authorizes Federal Resources For California Nightclub Shooting Investigation - Pence

US President Donald Trump has authorized all the resources of the federal government to assist with the investigation of the deadly shooting at a bar in Thousand Oaks, California, Vice President Mike Pence said in a statement on Thursday.
WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th November, 2018) US President Donald Trump has authorized all the resources of the Federal government to assist with the investigation of the deadly shooting at a bar in Thousand Oaks, California, Vice President Mike Pence said in a statement on Thursday.
"POTUS [President of the United States] directed the full resources of the federal government to support the investigation," Pence said in a Twitter message.
A total of 12 people, including a Ventura County Sheriff Sergeant were killed by a gunman, and 21 people were treated for injuries, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department said.
Officials said the gunman responsible for Wednesday night's shooting, 29-year-old Ian Long, is also dead.
