Trump, Guterres At UN General Assembly Discuss Proliferation, Terrorism - White House

UNITED NATIONS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th September, 2018) US President Donald Trump and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres exchanged views on proliferation and terrorism during a meeting in New York, the White House said in a press release�on Tuesday.
"The two leaders discussed their common interest in resolving some of the world's most pressing challenges, including those related to proliferation, terrorism," the release said.
Trump and Guterres also spoke about threats to international peace and security and made a promise to stay in close contact over the coming months, the release added.
The meeting happened on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, which opened on September 18.
