WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th October, 2018) US President Donald Trump must make a full disclosure of all his personal and family business dealings with Saudi Arabia, 11 Democratic senators wrote in a letter to the president and to the Trump Organization according to a release by Senator Tom Udall said.
"[The] Letters to Trump and [the] Trump Organization cite tens of millions in known Trump-Saudi transactions, seek business freeze during Khashoggi investigation and termination in event of Saudi government responsibility," the release said on Wednesday.
The senators wrote the letter seeking a full accounting of any financial ties between the Trump Organization and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following the disappearance and reported killing of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the release explained.
"It is imperative that this sanctions determination, and US policy towards Saudi Arabia generally are not influenced by any conflicts of interest that may exist because of your or your family's deep financial ties to Saudi Arabia," the letter said.
The letter was signed by Senators Udall, Patrick Leahy, Richard Durbin, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Martin Heinrich, Edward Markey, Tammy Duckworth, Sheldon Whitehouse, Richard Blumenthal and Jeffrey Merkley, the release noted.
