Trump, Polish President Duda Commit To Boosting Bilateral Trade Ties - White House

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th September, 2018) US President Donald Trump and Polish President Andrzej Duda have agreed to work together to boost trade ties between both countries, the White House said in a press release.

"We welcome the impressive progress our two countries' business ties have made and recognize the importance of US investments in Poland and the growing interest of Polish companies in the US market," the release said on Tuesday. "Our governments will work aggressively to fill the untapped potential, including through the Three Seas Initiative, which will further these goals with countries across this region of Europe.

Free, fair and reciprocal trade is as vital to the US-Polish relationship as defense and security, the release said.

Pairing US investments with high-tech skills in Poland will support efforts to strengthen partnerships in technology and science, the release added.

Trump and Duda met at the White House earlier on Tuesday to discuss a broad range of mutual concerns. Both leaders also agreed to strengthen ties in energy security and defense, the release also said.
