Trump Says 'All Options on Table' for Venezuela Amid Call for Transition of Power

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th January, 2019) US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that all options are on the table for Venezuela following his decision to recognize National Assembly President Juan Guaido as the interim president of the country.

"We're not considering anything but all options are on the table," Trump told reporters.

The United States has promised to take action against President Nicolas Maduro and his supporters if they attempt to harm members of the National Assembly or other opposition officials.
