Trump Says Another Migrant Caravan Heading Toward US Border, Hard To Stop Without Wall

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that a new caravan of migrants is moving toward the United States, underscoring the need to meet his demand for funds to build a barrier along the southern border with Mexico
"Another big Caravan heading our way. Very hard to stop without a Wall!" Trump said in a Twitter post.
It was unclear which caravan of migrants Trump was referring to in his statement. Similar caravans of migrants have arrived regularly to the United States over the past two decades, crossing into the US largely unnoticed, but Trump has cast a spotlight on the issue to highlight the need for enhanced border security.
One such caravan of 1,136 people that recently departed from Honduras on Monday turned back earlier on Friday, the Permanent Contingency Commission of Honduras said in a statement.
Trump's warning about the latest caravan comes amid a funding dispute that has resulted in the longest shutdown of the Federal government in US history. The dispute stems from Trumps demand for $5.7 billion to fund a border wall - and Democrats refusal to meet the request.
The impasse has left the US federal government partially closed for a record 28 days, with no end to the crisis in sight.
