US President Donald Trump says he is immediately sending Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Saudi Arabia to meet with King Salman about the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who went missing earlier this month in Turkey.

"I am immediately sending our Secretary of State to meet with King!" Trump said in a Twitter message.
