MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st October, 2018) US President Donald Trump decided to withdraw the country from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) because of Washington's dreams of the unipolar world, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik on Sunday.
On Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced the country's withdrawal from the INF treaty over the alleged Russian violations of the agreement.
"The main motive is the dream of the unipolar world. Will that come true? No," the source said.
The source added that the US move was fully in line with the current US political course aimed at withdrawing from the equal international agreements that were threatening Washington's "exceptionalism" in the international relations.
