US voter approval of President Donald Trump's performance and office fell by four percentage points in February following a surge upward in the previous month, a Gallup poll showed on Thursday
"After a strong February, President Donald Trump's job approval rating has dipped four percentage points, to 39 percent, matching his rating from December at the start of the 35-day partial government shutdown," Gallup said in a press release summarizing the poll.
Trump's personal high rating of 45 percent has been achieved twice in his presidency - in the first week of his term and in June 2018, after his first meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to the release.
His lowest rating, 35 percent, was seen several times throughout 2017, his first year in office, the release said.
