Turkey: Two Security Guards Martyred, Two Injured In PKK Attack

Two security guards were martyred and two others were injured Wednesday in a PKK terror attack in the southeastern Sirnak province of Turkey, according to a security source
SIRNAK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Sep, 2018 ) :Two security guards were martyred and two others were injured Wednesday in a PKK terror attack in the southeastern Sirnak province of Turkey, according to a security source.
An improvised explosive device planted on a road by PKK terrorists in Sirnak's Silopi district detonated, the security source informed seeking anonymity.
The injured security guards were taken to Silopi State Hospital, the source added.
An operation was launched in the area to apprehend the terrorists.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and EU. In its terror campaign against Turkey, which has lasted for more than three decades, the PKK killed over 40,000 people including women and children.
