The Turkish Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) has sanctioned arrests of 417 people as part of the probe into money laundering, media reported on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 02nd October, 2018) The Turkish Financial Crimes Investigation board (MASAK) has sanctioned arrests of 417 people as part of the probe into money laundering, media reported on Tuesday.

The fiscal authorities have warranted the detention of 417 people suspected of sending money to US-based Iranians, CNN Turk tweeted.

According to the broadcaster, the suspects have allegedly transferred 2.5 billion lira ($419 million) to 88 foreign accounts.
