Turkish Embassy In Moscow To Send Observer Team To Vostok-2018 Drills - Spokesperson

Representatives of the military attache office of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow will take part as observers in the Russian Armed Force's Vostok-2018 international military drills, which are currently being held in Russia's Far East, a spokesperson for the embassy told Sputnik on Tuesday.
ANKARA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th September, 2018) Representatives of the military attache office of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow will take part as observers in the Russian Armed Force's Vostok-2018 international military drills, which are currently being held in Russia's Far East, a spokesperson for the embassy told Sputnik on Tuesday.
"A delegation of the military attache office of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow will participate in the Russian Armed Forces' drills Vostok-2018 as observers," the spokesperson said.
The source did not specify when exactly the Turkish delegation was set to arrive.
The Vostok-2018 drills are held at five training grounds, located in the Russian Far East, and in the waters of the Sea of Japan, the Bering Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk. Vostok-2018, involving nearly 300,000 servicemen, 36,000 vehicles and over a thousand aircraft, is set to become Russia's largest military exercise since the Zapad drills in 1981. The exercise will involve Russian land, air and naval forces, while Chinese and Mongolian troops will also take part in one of its stages.
The drills will run until September 17.
