Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday that US President Donald Trump's statement on necessity to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights was bringing the region to the verge of a new conflict
ANKARA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd March, 2019) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday that US President Donald Trump's statement on necessity to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights was bringing the region to the verge of a new conflict.
"This unfortunate statement [by Trump] brings the middle East region on the brink of a new crisis," Erdogan said at an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
