Two Top Ranking Turkish Generals Resign Ahead Of Key Meeting: Report

ISTANBUL,(APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) - Two of Turkey's top ranking generals resigned on Thursday shortly before a key military meeting expected to agree a personnel shake-up following an abortive coup targeting the government, local media reported.
Land Forces Chief of Staff General Ihsan Uyar and Training and Doctrine Command head General Kamil Basoglu have stepped down, the private Dogan news agency reported.
Both are "Orgeneral", Turkey's highest rank for a general.
