MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 10th December, 2018) UK Prime Minister Theresa May will make a statement on exiting the European Union in the parliament at 15:30 GMT on Monday amid reports that the vote on the Brexit deal could be delayed, the Labour's Whips' Office said.

A number of UK media have indicated, citing sources, that the vote slated for Tuesday could be postponed.

"Breaking: The Prime Minister will be making an oral statement today at 330pm titled 'Exiting the European Union'," the Labour whips said on Twitter.

The UK House of Commons confirmed the news tweeting a new timetable with the prime minister's speech in it. Brexit Secretary Stephen Barclay is also expected to make a statement.
