Ukrainian Forces Fire Six HIMARS Missiles At Ilovaisk - DPR

DONETSK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th October, 2022) Ukrainian troops have shelled the city of Ilovaisk in the Donetsk region using the US-supplied High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), the Donetsk People's Republic's (DPR) mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination on the ceasefire regime (JCCC) said.

"Shelling was recorded from the side of the armed formations of Ukraine in the direction: 0.00 (21:00 GMT on Friday) - Umanskoye - Ilovaisk: six missiles were fired from the M142 HIMARS," the DPR mission said on Telegram.

It added that Ukrainian troops also shelled the city of Donetsk shortly after midnight, using at least five 155mm artillery shells.
