Ukrainian Foreign Minister To Hold Talks With Pompeo During Working Visit To US

KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th November, 2018) Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will pay a working visit to the United States on November 14-16, during which he will hold talks with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will be on a working visit to the United States ... On the agenda, there are talks with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, meetings with US lawmakers and experts," the ministry said in a statement.
During the visit, Klimkin is also expected to give an interview to the US media.
According to the ministry, the main purpose of the visit will become Klimkin's participation in a meeting of the revived Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership Commission, which will be co-chaired by the two top diplomats.
On November 11, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced that, on the sidelines of the Paris Peace Forum, he agreed with US President Donald Trump to resume the work of the Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership Commission and hold the first meeting on November 16.
