Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Thursday called on the parliament to renew the law on the special status of Donbas so that Kiev could not blamed of the Minsk accords' failure.
KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2018) Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Thursday called on the parliament to renew the law on the special status of Donbas so that Kiev could not blamed of the Minsk accords' failure.
Poroshenko claims that Russia "is trying to convince the European community that the Ukrainian side is not ready to renew the law" about the special status of Donbas.
"This, in the opinion of the Russian side, testifies to Ukraine's inability to fulfill its obligations, saying that the [anti-Russia] sanctions in this regard should be lifted," Poroshenko said.
